  Turned up today for our 12pm lunch reservation. Doors locked curtains drawn no one there! Can't get through on the phone as number comes up invalid. What an awful so called pub!!

  If I could give 0 stars I would. Had a Booked reservation for a 86 year olds birthday. Turn up the place is locked tight. No notice nor any courtesy call back to advise of any potential issues. Would not recommend nor would I return. Awful / none existent service. Please note this experience does not appear a one off as another reviewer raised the same point. Just wish we had of known.

  Since may 2017 it's been re opened with new management. It's a great atmosphere which is suitable for a quick drink with children too.
  
  The food is fantastic with a variety of choice and when ordering for kids drink and pudding is included in the price.
